Camel Spider Model (Solifugae)

A model I created during my Pixologic live streams over the past couple months. This is a Camel Spider (Solifugae). It a bit of a mish mash of species sincre this was done as a demo, I kind of blended together from various reference online so I was not as rigorous with my accuracy as I normally try to be. Model created and painted in ZBrush. The hair is all ZBrush fibermesh and the renders were created in Keyshot. Hope to do a final version in Redshift for Maya or Unreal when I get a chance. cute right? Camel spiders are not spiders but they are arachnids. I have had the opportunity to photograph a live one a few years ago. it did not like me or my camera.
