A model of a Proto planet I created for the planetarium show "Signs of Life" at the Samuel Oschin Planetarium at Griffith Observatory. I sculpted the details in ZBrush and created the textures in Mari. This was rendered at very high resolution (8K square) and the camera got very close to the model so I had to split the texture of into 6 8K Udims. The final sequence is very dramatic. If you are in Los Angeles make sure you check out "Signs of Life" at Griffith Observatory. Its really entertaining.
