Start of a larger interior scene I'm working on with my partner Irene Devin Keller (https://www.artstation.com/irenedevin). I created the models in ZBrush and Maya, she is handling the texturing in Substance Painter. I set up lighting and rendering in Arnold for Maya. The best part has been doing the research which has required both of us to tour some outstanding cafes here in France. Cafe De La Paix in La Rochelle and Bouillon Du Marche in Niort have been our primary reference. Dmitriy Nemtsu (https://www.artstation.com/dingodile9) helped out with the floor tile in Substance Designer. FYI, you'll notice our tiles don't repeat perfectly. this is intentional as the same is true for the tile in our reference (see the reference photos I posted). More to come...
